Numismatics
Numismatics is the scientific study and/or collection of coins, tokens, paper money currencies. This is one of the ancient discipline dating back to Julius Caesar.
My interest in coin and currency collection was started at the age of 11-12 years when my father showed me a few ₹1 note and ₹2 notes which were almost not in print as well in circulation. He gave me one note in each denomination which started my journey into Numismatics.
In the section below, I would like to share my drops of learning in the sea-like field, History of Indian Coinage, Paper Currency, the Banking system and my perception, observations, comments and suggestions also.
The history of Indian Coinage and Currency credit system dates back to many centuries. For the convenience of the reader, I am dividing it into sections and subsections.
